What it is?

Annie the shopping trolley chair is perhaps the most iconic of ditch
fillers. Trolleys are generally scrapped due to unaligned wheels or exposed wire. Once transformed by Reestore they become beautiful yet functional upright chairs.

Why it’s cool?

It’s amazing to make something new form something that it’s old and not needed. Instead of throwing it away you give it a new live and soul! It’s making upcycling our new future. Making new nice things of old rubbish. It’s like art for me.

Sustainability#1

What it is?

It’s a water pomp machine from Water Brabant company. This company provides tapped water in the region of Brabant in Holland. You can just take  one of the free water bottles that are standing next to the machine and tap your own water anytime and anywhere you need to! Simple and healthy tapped water. And that is not all because you can choose one of two options: cold water or soda water. Just great!

Why it’s cool?

You can save a lot of money and plastic. It’s so easy! You can keep this free bottle and tapped water anywhere else, you don’t need to buy a new bottle of water every time. Tapped water is free and healthy. It contains many minerals that our body needs, but no sugar, sweeteners, fat or colorings. It’s cool because we’re helping to save our environment. Bottled water is expensive to produce. This is caused by the energy needed for bottling, labeling, packaging, transporting and cooling. And we haven’t mentioned the millions of discarded empty bottles that unfortunately can easily be found in nature. Even if u would destroy these bottles in a waste incineration plant it still comes with the necessary CO 2 emissions.
